The cost includes classes, breakfast Saturday and Sunday along with lunch, happy hour, and hors d’Oeuvres Friday and Saturday, a swag bag, and snacks throughout the weekend.
What is NOT included in the cost?
Overnight lodging and dinners on Friday and Saturday are not included in the retreat cost.
How many people will be there?
We are expecting up to 50 people for the full weekend retreat experience.
Which airports can I fly into?
Flying right into Bemidji Regional Airport is your best bet. This airport is 12 miles from Kohl’s Resort. If fares or schedules into Bemidji are a challenge you can fly into Fargo, ND or Grand Forks, ND. Both of these airports are a good drive to Bemidji.
Where can I stay?
Kohl’s Resort is honoring a discounted per person per night for retreat participants. Once you have completed your registration you will receive an email with the information necessary to book your overnight accommodations directly with Kohl’s Resort.
Can I room alone? Or request a roommate?
The cabins at Kohl’s Resort have common areas; living, kitchen and bathrooms. Each person will have their own bedroom or have a roommate if they so choose. Either way the rate is the same $40 per person per night.
What if I want to come in early?
You can book your room according to your entire stay directly with Kohl’s Resort.
What are the options for dinners that aren’t included?
Kohl’s Resort has a restaurant onsite and will be open. Their menu consists of pizza, bar food, local tap beer and wine.
Food delivery is an option with Instacart by Target or DoorDash
What if I want to bring a non-knitting friend or spouse?
Included meals, classes, and other retreat activities are for registered retreat attendees only.
Are tickets refundable?
Tickets are NON-refundable after November 1, 2024. Full refunds prior to November 2024.
What happens if the weather in Bemidji prevents the event from taking place as scheduled?
Weather can be challenging in the winter. If the event is canceled due to weather in the Bemidji area, the organizers will work with the resort and instructors to reschedule.
Is there enough light to knit?
The event space is well lit. However, we recommend bringing your knitting or reading light just in case the lighting is not sufficient for you.
